Bazinga! Inspired by my current TV obsession and favorite character, Sheldon Cooper. http://etsy.me/15a4K8W I’m not crazy — my mother had me tested!

I’ve never worked with fur before, so I wanted to make some cute, stuffed little thing to test it out. This is the result!

Birthday gift for my bff — body pillows are comfy win, and I decided to sew on some soft fleece leaves so it matched her nature-y green apartment :)

So I decided to add in a snake applique design for my quilt in progress. I’ll do 4 pink and 4 grey. If I actually keep it. I’m not sure if I like it; he looks kinda mean.

This is the most recently finished applique square on my huge quilt project. ^_^ I can’t wait to put the top together and start, you know… quilting.

Another gift, this one for Mrs. Voorhees ^_^

Another gift card holder, made for a friend at work — same pattern as my original gift card holder post, but this time with an embroidered sugar skull applique on the back :)

A quilt in pieces: the current state of my current quilt.

This project has been quite time consuming to say the least. I have 53 applique squares complete, 56 9-patches done, and 23 applique squares still to go. Considering I’m planning on hand quilting this monster (did I mention it’s going to be big enough to fit a queen sized bed?), getting the top sewn together won’t make me nearly close to the end, but at least 23 squares from now I’ll get to start something new.

I have to admit, I’m getting a little tired of the blanket stitch.
